Simge Göksoy and I were invited to IND 202 Studio for a talk at Istanbul Bilgi University, Santral Campus. Thanks for the invitation from Dear Bilge Bal and Dear İdil Karababa to their design studio.
In the presentation, we talked about the ID 202 and ID 202-302 Industrial Design Studio Course, which was given at Istanbul Bilgi University between 2013 and 2022 under names such as Material Diary, Apprenticeship in Design, Objects of Sishane, where students were apprentices in craft workshops. In addition, I also shared the social and activist project Made in Şişhane Project and its actions, which works for the sustainability of craft neighbourhoods; the characteristics of Craft Neighbourhoods, different city visions and planning decisions regarding Perşembe Bazaar, Kurşunlu Han.
